Pedro Moreno, born in 1994 in Mérida, Venezuela. He holds a BA in Audiovisual Media (cum laude) from the Universidad de Los Andes (Merida, Venezuela). His work focuses on personal perspectives in broader conflicts. He applied this approach to a short documentary film for his final project as an undergraduate student, where he explored the collapse of the public health system in his hometown, which was among the shortlisted in the World Biennial of Student Photography at the Academy of Arts University of Novi Sad, Serbia (2017).
His work has been featured in exhibits depicting the Venezuelan crisis: “República Colapsada, v.2”, BabyCastles Gallery, NY, 2017, “Derechos Humanos: La Crisis Humanitaria Venezolana”, Rectorado de la Universidad de Los Andes. Mérida, 2018, and the “Belgrade Photo Month exhibition 2018 edition”, UK Stari Grad, Belgrade, Serbia.
